The Laurel Woods Trail offers hikers an elevated view of the historic cut on the abandoned Pomeroy and Newark Railroad. Below is the interpretive sign installed during the Fall of 2010. More detail on the history of the Pomeroy and Newark is available on the New Garden Historical Commission website.
